Accessing certain features of the website requires creation of an account wherein you will be asked of your Personal Information. We may, at any time, in our sole discretion, request that you update your Personal Information or invalidate your Username and/or Password without providing any reason or prior notice and shall not be liable for any losses arising out of such request or invalidation.

Terms of Sale
By placing an order, you agree to purchase a product based on the website’s terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
To be able to transact with Appstar, you must be over 18 years of age. When placing an order, you guarantee that all personal details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. All prices advertised are subject to changes.
Prices posted on the Website are subject to change without prior notice. Price adjustments may inevitably occur due to: a) markup or markdown in the costs of labor and/or raw materials by the supplier or b) existing market situations.
Appstar is committed to guarantee the accuracy of our price information however, errors may still occur. This is why all orders shall undergo our price validation procedure before they are considered valid and accepted. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, Appstar will provide an option to: a) generate a Credit Memo or b) process refund (net of the applicable bank processing charges).
Selling prices are subject to taxes, unless otherwise stated. Product pricing on the Appstar site may be different from prices available in the offline stores.
Summary of the items purchased as well as the applicable shipping cost will be displayed in your final order breakdown upon check-out.
Placing Your Order
You may place an Order by filling in all the required information in the Order Form & selecting your preferred payment method. A final order breakdown will be displayed upon check-out and clicking the "Place Order" button will complete your transaction. When you place your Order, we will issue you an Order Number. Order Numbers are unique and you can make use of it as reference when you wish to follow up on the status of your purchase.
To prevent credit card or payment fraud, we do not formally accept your offer until your order has passed our internal validation procedure. Appstar and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
We will notify you that your order is being processed by sending you via email an Order Confirmation indicating the estimated shipment date of goods and a system-generated invoice.

Appstar reserves the right to check whether the customer is duly authorized to use certain payment method, and may hold the transaction until such authorization is confirmed or cancel the relevant transaction where such confirmation is not available.
Full payment before delivery terms apply. Order processing will not begin until transaction is fully paid and we receive all the information needed. Orders placed on a weekend or Public holiday will be processed on the next business day. Business days are Mondays through Saturdays, excluding Public holidays.
Refund of Payments
All refunds shall be administered using the original payment method and to the person who made the original payment, except for Cash payments, where refunds will be made via a) bank transfer into the individual’s bank account provided that thorough and accurate bank account details are provided to us or b) check pick-up in our showrooms. Also, all refunds will be deducted with shipping fee & applicable bank changes incurred on the transaction.
Appstar offers no guarantee on the processing time of the refunds. The refund processing lead time (usually takes one (1) to two (2) weeks) may vary depending on the guidelines provided by the respective banks and/or payment provider’s internal guidelines. All refunds are conditional upon our acceptance of a valid return.
Delivery of Products
Shipment of orders within the Philippines shall be handled by Appstar and its logistics partners as long as the location is covered by our delivery network.
Delivery timeframe takes up to seven (7) working days (Mondays through Saturdays except Public Holidays) from the date your payment is received. In all instances, estimated delivery dates will be displayed upon Order Confirmation via E-mail. Although every effort is made to ship your Order in a timely manner, delivery timeframes given are estimates only and delays can inevitably occur. Delivery of your Order is subject to availability of the Products. You acknowledge that while stock allocation on the site is updated regularly, it is possible that in rare scenarios a Product may become unavailable between updates. In such case, we will inform you of the possible delay and your product will be dispatched as soon as it becomes available.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your Product/s to the address specified in your Order Confirmation. If no one is available to accept the delivery of your Products, you can assign an authorized person to receive them provided he/she presents a valid ID or we will call you to arrange reschedule of your delivery.
Delivery within Metro Manila is free of charge. We charge shipping cost for areas outside Metro Manila. Shipping charges are calculated on a per kilometer basis (see matrix of charges per area HERE).

Appstar reserves the right to cancel any orders received due to the following reasons:
a) Force majeure or act of nature (e.g. calamity/ bad weather condition and strikes).
b) Uncontrollable circumstances (e.g. out of stock, system error, item detail dispute, incorrect image, wrong promotion, wrong pricing).
c) Non-compliance to order requirements.

Cancellation fees may apply depending on bank processing charges and applicable shipping fees (if the Product is already with the customer’s possession). Return and Replacement Policy
Replacement of unit due to change of mind is strictly not allowed. We only allow defective goods to be returned or exchanged.
If you happen to receive a defective item, please inform Appstar thru e-mail at email@example.com or call us at (02) 230-1555 loc. 8597 within seven (7) days from the delivery date. A Customer Service Representative will get in touch with you to schedule a service check-up and send out an authorized technician to assess the product defect. In case the customer informed Appstar later than seven (7) days, the product will still be inspected and necessary repairs will be done by the technician.
Approved returns must be in its original delivery condition with original copy of the Sales Invoice. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Appstar may charge administrative and handling charges depending on the conditions of the return.
Among the reasons for valid return are:
a) Incorrect item delivered where item/s received by the customer is not the same product he/she availed
b) Damaged item where product/s received by the customer may have dents, scratches or any issues that relates to the aesthetic quality.
c) Defective item where product/s received by the customer is not working properly or has “Factory Defect”.
All products we carry in the website are covered with warranty. Warranty coverage varies depending on the product category:
• Cookers - One (1) year on service and Two (2) years on parts
• Range Hoods - One (1) year on service and Two (2) years on parts
• Kitchen Appliances - One (1) year on service and parts

Appstar shall not be responsible for any losses suffered by any third party directly or indirectly caused by repairs or remedial work done without our prior written approval; and the customer shall indemnify Exatech against all losses arising out of such claims.
To the scope permissible under Philippine Law, Appstar shall not be accountable to any defect in the Products arising after the expiry of the applicable Product Warranty. Repairs to be done or parts to be replaced are all chargeable after the product warranty has expired. Repair costs will directly be paid through the attending technician or assigned Authorized Service Center.
This Terms and Conditions represent the complete agreement between Appstar and its customers. It supersedes all prior arrangements between them. If any provision hereof is held invalid or unenforceable for any reason, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the validity, enforceability, or operation of any other provision of this Agreement (which shall remain in full force and effect). This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under Philippine law without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Any litigation arising out of or relating to this Agreement must be brought in the courts of the Philippines and you consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of such courts.
